Staff Selection Commission conducted the Junior Engineers (Civil & Electrical) Exam.2011 on 27/03/11 for recruitment to the post of Jr. Engineer (Civil & Electrical) in the office of the C.P.W.D. and M.E.S., Group ‘B’, Non-Gazetted and Non-Ministerial Post, classified as General Central Services (Technical) in the Pay Band II with grade pay of Rs. 4200 all over the country.
A total of 31,850 candidates appeared in this examination.
As per the cut off approved by Commission in Paper-I, 2453 candidates for Civil/Structural and 1349 candidates for Electrical/Mechanical qualified for the evaluation of Paper-II. As per the cut-off approved by Commission in Paper I+II.1,434 candidates in Civil/Structural and 452 candidates in Electrical/Mechanical qualified to be called for interview.

The list of recommended candidates is purely PROVISIONAL and subject to the candidates fulfilling all the eligibility conditions prescribed in the Notice of said examination and also subject to, among other things, thorough verification of their identity with reference to their photographs, signatures, hand writings, etc. on the application forms, admission certificates, etc.
