Shilpa Shetty will be seen in a bald look in her upcoming film, ‘The Desire’.
Shilpa has not shaved off her head but opted for prosthetic make up. The film also stars Chinese actor Xia Yu, Anupam Kher, Vikram Gokhale, Jaya Pradha and Asif. It has been directed by R Sarath and co-produced by Sunanda Shetty and Shi Yun. The Desire has been shot in the beautifullocales of Kerela, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, and Gujrat along with Malaysia.
Talking about her bald look, Shilpa revealed, "I opted for prosthetic make up for the film. Getting the bald look was a three hours job. My film is complete now and has been shown at various international film festivals. It has just won the Best Narrative at the Boston Film Festival."
According to the actress, the film is done with its shoot and has been even shown at various international film festivals. Interestingly it has won the Best Narrative at the Boston Film Festival and will be next screened at the New York Film Festival on August 24, 2011.
