BSNL special make to offer FTTH connections

The Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has put for itself a goal of giving 600 to 700 Fibers to the home connections in Krishna district through special constrains. Only 11 customers had subscribed to FTTH in the district, but the number of subscribers would be improved in a special oblige. 

The FTTH permitted clients to make use of HD TV, 3D TV, VoD and IPTV integrated with internet, phone line with just one connection. High data speed of up to 1 GB per second could be provided to FTTH subscribers, but the payment for that category of service would be Rs.33, 000 per month. 

  

BSNL capacity of the new exchange at Lotus Landmark was 1,000 landlines, but it could be increased to 2,000 later. Small microwave tower will also be raised at Lotus Landmark to improve the mobile connectivity.

BSNL Launches Special Apps Store

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd has launched its exact own applications store termed the BSNL Apps Store. The store will be exist to all BSNL mobile 2G & 3G customers having GPRS facility through India and will deal a collection of new than 4,500 apps. BSNL customers will now be able to purchase and download applications for use on their handsets and will have a choice across 25 kinds which will include entertainment, news, finance, horoscope, sports, games, themes and services amongst others. India specific apps have also been delivered.

According to BSNL, the browsing and downloading of application will be as per subscribers’ data plan and they will be charged for the content only when they download a certain application on their handset. Browsing will be charged distinctly and download charges will be applicable only when subscribers download a particular application on their handset. The charges contrast by application and these charges are displayed before the content is actually downloaded.  

Once subscribed, users can withdraw their subscription through SMS, by going to My Purchases link on BSNL Apps Store or calling BSNL customer care. BSNL has now joined the alliance of the likes of Android and Apple.

BSNL outgoing calls free for OBCs in Beed

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, India’s biggest nationalized cellular operator, newly approved a plan to formulate outgoing calls free for OBCs in Beed district, Maharashtra. While BSNL hotly starved of the plan had no matter which to do with caste, political parties had mixed effect.

Vijay Joshi, SDE of BSNL in Beed, said the plan was for members of the organisation and not OBCs in particular. Vijay Joshi said, “Earlier too we have considered proposals from the barber community, Even Baba Ramdev’s followersapproached us for a CUG connection.”

Both the BJP and the CPI said the operator should not try to earn money by utilizing the market based on caste. BJP State General Secretary, Vinod Tawde said, “CUG connections should not be given to anyone based on their caste.” Mumbai president of the CPI, Prakash Reddy, said “This move will not help in the development of OBCs.”

BSNL approved a Closed User Group plan for members of the Satya Shodhak OBC Parishad in Beed. The condition is the group should 6,000 members within 90 days of taking the plan.The operator has waived off the SIM card and first recharges charges. But a member within the CUG will have to deposit Rs90 every month.
