Joint Entrance Examination, IIT-JEE, Schedule on April 8, 2012.

The Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) are institutions of national importance established through an Act of Parliament for development excellence in education. There are fifteen IITs at present, located in Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Gandhinagar, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Jodhpur, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Mandi, Mumbai, Patna, Ropar and Roorkee.

Each institute has well-equipped modern laboratories, state-of-the-art computer network and well-stocked technical library. Teaching methods rely on direct personal contact between the teachers and the students, and the use of traditional and modern instructional techniques. Students live in a pleasant and intellectually stimulating environment with people having similar goals and aspirations, which is an exciting and unique experience.

These institutions offer courses leading to Bachelor’s degree in a number of engineering, technological and scientific disciplines. Integrated M.Sc. courses in pure and applied sciences and Integrated M.Tech. courses in a few disciplines are also offered by some of these Institutions. In addition, some IITs offer Dual-Degree M.Tech. programmes, wherein both B.Tech. and M.Tech. degrees are awarded.

Admission to the Undergraduate Programmes at these institutions for all Indian and Foreign nationals is made through a Joint Entrance Examination, IIT-JEE. Schedule of IIT-JEE 2012 given below. The examination will be held on Sunday, April 8, 2012.


Paper 1: 09.00 to 12.00 hrs (IST)

Paper 2: 14.00 to 17.00 hrs (IST)


The schedule will remain unchanged even if the above date is declared a public holiday.

Type of Examination

There will be two question papers, each of three hours duration. Both the question papers will consist of three part sections on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The questions will be of objective type, planned to test comprehension, reasoning and analytical ability of candidates.

The answers for each of the questions are to be marked on a part, specifically premeditated, machine-gradable sheet of paper (Optical Response Sheet). While answering each of the questions the candidate is expected to darken the bubbles against correct answers using black ball point pen only.


During several parts, wrong answers may be awarded negative marks.

CBSE will be conducting the Eleventh All India Engineering/Architecture Entrance Examination (AIEEE), Offline Examination on 29th April, 2012 (Sunday) and Online Examination for B.E./.B.Tech. only from 7th May to 26th May, 2012 for admission to degree level courses in Engineering and Architecture in National Institute of Technologies (NITs), Indian Institute of Information Technologies (IIITs), Centrally funded Institutions, Deemed Universities and Institutions in States/UTs (Other than those covered by Joint Entrance Examination) State Level Entrance Examination. List of participated Institutions in CCB (AIEEE 2011) counseling will be available on Central Counseling Board (CCB) website www.ccb.nic.in .

 
Candidates submitting applications online are required:
  • To retain a photocopy of Confirmation Page with Registration No. and Copy of mode of remittance of Examination fee:
  • Note - In addition to Examinations Fee, Service/Processing Charges will have to be paid by the candidates.
  • For online submission of application with payment through Credit Card/Debit card …… 2%of the examination fee plus service tax as applicable.
 
Last Date: The last date for Online Registration is 31.12.2011, however receipt of confirmation page duly completed in CBSE will be 05.01.2012 by Registered/Speed Post only and not in person/courier. Use of address of any coaching institute is strictly prohibited. If anybody uses the address of any coaching institute his/her application form i.e. confirmation page will be rejected.

NOTE : Candidates appearing for B.E./B.Tech or B.Arch/B. Planning or both BE/B.Tech and B.Arch/B.Planning together should send their fee either through Debit/Credit Cards or in the form of Demand Draft in favour of SECRETARY, CBSE PAYABLE AT DELHI/NEW DELHI only. Demand draft payable other than Delhi/New Delhi will not be accepted and their candidature will be rejected.

CTET 2012 Exam :Exam Schedule,Syllabus,Pattern and fee details

The implementation of the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education (RTE) Act, 2009 requires the recruitment of a large number of teachers across the country in a time bound manner. In spite of the enormity of the task, it is desirable to ensure that quality requirement for recruitment of teachers is not diluted at any cost. It is therefore necessary to ensure that persons recruited as teachers possess the essential aptitude and ability to meet the challenges of teaching at the primary and upper primary level.The Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India has entrusted the responsibility of conducting the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) to the Central Board of Secondary Education which shall be held on 29.01.2012 (Sunday).


Note: GATE 2012 Online Examination for Papers AR, GG and TF is also scheduled to 29.01.2011

Structure and Content of CTET 2012

All questions in CTET test will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), each carrying one mark, with four alternatives out of which one answer will be correct. There will be no negative marking.

There will be two papers of CTET.

  1. Paper I will be for a person who intents to be a teacher for classes I to V.
  2. Paper II will be for a person who intents to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.
Note: A person who intents to be a teacher for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII) will have to appear in both the papers (Paper I and Paper II).

Paper I (for classes I to V):

Duration of examination: one-and-a-half hours

Structure and Content (All Compulsory):
  1. Child Development and Pedagogy: 30 MCQs - 30 Marks
  2. Language I: 30 MCQs - 30 Marks
  3. Language II: 30 MCQs - 30 Marks
  4. Mathematics: 30 MCQs - 30 Marks
  5. Environmental Studies: 30 MCQs - 30 Marks
Total: 150 MCQs - 150 Marks

Nature and standard of questions:
The test items on Child Development and Pedagogy will focus on educational psychology of teaching and learning relevant to the age group of 6-11 years. They will focus on understanding the characteristics and needs of diverse learners, interaction with learners and the attributes and qualities of a good facilitator of learning.

The Test items for Language I will focus on the proficiencies related to the medium of instruction, (as chosen from list of prescribed language options in the application form).

The Language II will be from among the prescribed options other than Language I. A candidate may choose any one language from the available language options and will be required to specify the same in the application form. The test items in language II will also focus on the elements of language, communication and comprehension abilities.

The test items in Mathematics and Environmental Studies will focus on the concepts, problem solving abilities and pedagogical understanding of the subjects. In all these subject areas, the test items will be evenly distributed over different divisions of the syllabus of that subject prescribed for classes� I–V, by the NCERT/CBSE.

The questions in the tests for Paper I will be based on the topics prescribed for classes ½ I–V, but their difficulty standard, as well as linkages, could be up to the secondary stage.

Paper II (for classes VI to VIII):

Duration of examination: one-and-a-half hours

Structure and Content:

  1. Child Development & Pedagogy (compulsory): 30 MCQs - 30Marks
  2. Language I (compulsory): 30 MCQs - 30Marks
  3. Language II (compulsory): 30 MCQs - 30Marks
  4. (a) For Mathematics and Science teacher: Mathematics and Science: 60 MCQs - 60Marks(b) For Social Studies/Social Science Teacher: Social Science: 60 MCQs - 60Marks
    (c) For any other teacher either (a) or (b)

Nature and standard of questions:

The questions in the tests for Paper II will be based on the topics of the prescribed syllabus of the NCERT/CBSE for classes VI-VIII but their difficulty standard as well as linkages could be up to the senior secondary stage.

Eligibility:

The following persons are eligible for appearing in the CTET:-

Minimum Qualifications for Classes I-V:

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final 2–year Diploma in Elementary Education (or its equivalent)
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final 2–year Diploma in Elementary Education (or its equivalent), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations 2002
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final 4–year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final 2–year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*

Note:
i). Relaxation of 5% in minimum qualifying marks at BA/B.Sc./Senior Secondary level is admissible for SC/ST/ Differently abled Candidates.
ii). For this year only, a candidate with BA/B.Sc. with at least 50% marks and B.Ed qualification shall also be eligible for test for classes I to V, provided he/she undergoes, after appointment, an NCTE recognized 6–month special program in Elementary Education.

Minimum Qualifications for Classes VI-VIII:

B.A. /B.Sc and passed or appearing in final 2–year Diploma in Elementary Education* (or its equivalent)
OR
B.A. /B.Sc. with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1–year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed)*
OR
B.A. /B.Sc. with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1–year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed)*, in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final 4–year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)*
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final 4–year BA/B.Sc. Ed or B.A. (Ed.)/B.Sc. (Ed.)*
OR
B.A. /B.Sc. with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1–year B.Ed. (Special Education)*

* A diploma/degree course in teacher education recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) only shall be considered. However, in case of Diploma in Education (Special Education) and B.Ed. (Special Education), a course recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) only shall be considered.

Note:
Relaxation of 5% in minimum qualifying marks at BA/B.Sc./Senior secondary level is admissible for SC/ST and Differently abled Candidates.

Qualifying Marks and award of CTET 2012 Certificate:


The candidates appearing in CTET will be issued marks statement by CBSE. The candidates securing 60% and above marks will be issued CTET certificate.

Qualifying the CTET would not confer a right on any person for recruitment/employment as it is only one of the eligibility criteria for appointment.

Examination Fees/Cost of Information Bulletin:
The cost of Information Bulletin inclusive of examination for Teachers Eligibility Test :

  • General/OBC Category Rs 500/- (Five hundred)
  • SC/ST/ Differently Abled Category Rs 250/- (Two hundred fifty)
Information Bulletin containing Application Form can be obtained from the Designated Branches of Syndicate Bank/other Banks/Designated Institutions (List of Syndicate Bank Branches ) or can also be obtained by post from the Assistant Secretary (CTET), Central Board of Secondary Education, Shiksha Sadan, 17, Institutional Area, Rouse Avenue, Delhi-110002. The Syndicate Bank/other Banks, the designated institutions will not send the Information Bulletin by Post. Hence, no request should be made to them for sending the Bulletin by Post.

The designated branches of Syndicate Banks/Other Banks/designated Institutions are not responsible for any consequences, that may arise due to non-availability of forms in case the copies of application forms are sold out before the last date. In case of such an eventuality the candidate may apply on-line.

Instructions for completing and sending the Application Form by post are given here. Candidates are advised to go through the instructions carefully before filling up the application form.
i). Request for change/correction in any particulars in the Application Form shall not be entertained under any circumstances. The Board will not be responsible for any consequences arising out of non-acceptance of any correction/addition/deletion in any particular once filled in the application form whatsoever the reasons may be.
ii). Incomplete Application Forms, or the forms having over-writing, will be summarily rejected.

Fee once remitted shall not be refunded under any circumstances.

Haryana TET / HTET 2011 Admit Card :- No candidate can appear in the examination without valid admit card, if any one appear in examination unlawfully their result will be stopped, so don't forget to bring admit card at examination center :-
Admit Card of all eligible candidates will send by post at the correspondence addresses given by the candidates in their application forms.

HTET postponed now held on 5&6 Nov.

Teachers Eligibility Test to be held on September 24 & 25 is now postponed and will held on 5 & 6 November.

SNAP 2011

Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Test is a common and mandatory written test for the admission to all the Post-Graduate Institutes of Symbiosis International University. However, it is only the first step. In addition, a candidate has to undergo the selection process of the desired Institute to qualify for the admission to the Post-Graduate programme of that Institute.

ITIs FTT July 2011 Results declare


Results of ITI, Haryana are declared. Final Trade Test Examinations are held on July 2011 for Craftsman Training Scheme NCVT/SCVT.

Craftsman Training Scheme was introduced by Govt. of India in 1950 to ensure a steady flow of skilled workers in different trades for industry, to raise quantitatively and qualitatively the industrial production by systematic training, to reduce unemployment among the educated youth by providing them employable training, to cultivate and nurture a technical and industrial attitude in the minds of the younger generation. 

In the field of Industrial Training, the state of Haryana has progressed from only 48 Industrial Training Institutes with a seating capacity of 7156 in 1966 to 119 Industrial Training Institutes with around 34296 seats in 2011.

Remuneration of Guest Teachers in Haryana Increased By 20%


Chief Minister Sh. Bhupinder Singh Hooda announced to increase 20% remuneration for Guest Teachers of Haryana. Govt. given profit to 15400 Guest Teachers.
THE NEW REMUNERATION IS
LECTURERS      =       19400/-
MASTERS            =       15840/-
JBT                        =       14400/-
 

The new remuneration is given from July 2011. Department also issued letter regarding ID No. and Opening of Service Book of the Guest Teachers is given as:
